223k Miles. Not a bad run

Haven't had a chance to determine whats wrong but it looks like something with VTEC

More as it developes...

gave it a little drive on my lunch. Everything seems to be back to normal now. I believe I know what happened.

There is a big 180 turn off the freeway to my job. My theory is...
I entered the turn in VTEC
The g force of the turn pulled all the oil to one side of the engine
VTEC was cut off due to insufficiant oil supply
Car threw temper tantrum/check engine light.

Still going to have the dealer take a look at it when I get my oil change but so far looks like its going to be ok

We actually still don't know yet. We are going to call tomorrow and see if we can get it in to be looked at this week. I'm sure we will keep everyone posted when we know more

Damn, that car has been an absolute champ for you.

My Prelude is still going strong, but I did have to recently replace my clutch master and slave cylinders at 130k miles, and I have a mystery oil leak. :(

Just curious, what kind of car are you looking to get after this one gives up the ghost?

I have seen about 10 of them on the road since they were released. I think they have a busted looking rear end. It is a confused car that wants to be a cross-over SUV thing.
