Here are the instructions that came with the lid. It is a fairly simple install.

The stock lid looking from the front of the car.

The stock lid looking from the driver side of the car.

The stock lid looking from the passanger of the car.
The first step is to remove the air sensor. Carefully twist back and forth and pull until it comes out. In the middle of the picture is a plastic tab holding down part of the lid. Use a flat head screw driver and pry up the little round part about half way, then pry out the big round part. Do this on both sides.
Take a flat head screw driver and stick it in the little loop of the clamp closest to the engine. (Click Picture) Twist the screw driver and pry clamp off. Don't worry about breaking it. You don't need it any more.
Here is the new lid. It came with a rubber grommet and a screw clamp thing.
Unclamp the two latches on the front of the air box. Lift the lid and pull the entire thing off. Also take out the filter and filter holder. If yours is as dirty as mine was, you might want to take a wet rag and clean it up.
Here is the MAF or Mass-Air-Flow Housing.
The new and old lid and filters.
Remove the sensor from the connector clip plug on the car.
Here is the hard part, getting the sensor in the grommet. I started by pushing the sensor into the grommet up until the first ridge on the sensor.
Next stick the grommet into the lid with the sensor facing clip side up. Now work the rest of the sensor into the grommet.
Pull the rubber hose over the back of the new lid.
The lid inside the hose.
Attach the screw clip that came with the lid and fasten down the rubber tightly.
Put your new filter in the holder then put the holder inside the lid. Make sure the back tabs are in the slots and close the lid. The clamps will pop off if you don't close the lid correctly. Make sure the front of the lid is INSIDE the bottom part.
